GO DARK on the Olympic Peninsula
From the rugged coastlines of La Push to the majestic peaks of Hurricane Ridge, the Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the most amazing views in the lower 48. In many places, views of the night sky are still among them. This April, we invite you to join us and a global community of stargazers, biologists, and neighbors to celebrate International Dark Sky Week.
Light pollution is growing at twice the rate of population growth, but unlike other forms of pollution, it is reversible. Together, we can GO DARK to explore the night and take action to protect the stars for generations to come.
