DarkSky advocates in Clallam County worked to get proclamations from the state of Washington, Clallam County, and the City of Sequim to recognize International Dark Sky Week 2025. This week, which was April 21-18, is a yearly global effort from DarkSky International to celebrate the night. It can include fun events and a call to take meaningful action to protect the night worldwide, as well as online speakers. We look forward to 2026 for local events and an increase in participation!
