DSOP, in partnership with Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society (OPAS), arranged to have this information table at the Sept 6 OPAS Pollinators program at the Dungeness River Nature Center in recognition of National Hummingbird Day. The turnout was beyond expectations and DSOP was able to take advantage of this opportunity to expand the reach of the DSI chapter’s message. As we continue to enhance our relationships with local community environmental groups and leverage their established positions for the outreach possibilities they offer, DSOP grows and strengthens its identity throughout the Olympic Peninsula region.
